Mudgee Homestead Guesthouse

The location was great. It was not too far from the town but just far enough to enjoy the country holiday. The rooms were spotless and cozy, and everything was premium. The living room, dining room, and common areas are well-maintained. Sean and Karen are amazing hosts who know exactly what their guests want. The breakfast was exceptional with great homemade jam and preserves. The entertainment room underneath is just what a guy would want in his house, bar area, pool table, nice and comfy couch, and darts. I can't wait to go back again with more friends and stay here longer.

The homestead is a beautifully appointed property set on a hill with a gorgeous vista, kangaroos grazing and colourful birds in the trees. The house itself is elegantly decorated with attention to detail such as fresh flowers and artwork that elevate the experience of staying there to a high level.

Wow! Wow! Wow! We liked everything. This is a real gem. Sean and Karen are wonderful hosts who have an eye for detail. My partner and I decided to take a drive to Mudgee. We were looking for an authentic homestead stay and as we arrived at the homestead we were blown away with the views, the warm greeting and the absolute peace. A chilled rosè to start with followed by a sunset show and star gazing from the verandah. Kangaroos and birds galore. Thank you so much Sean and Karen. We will definately be returning. The location was peaceful and in a very relaxing environment. It was central to all the places I wanted to visit. The owners Sean & Karen are so lovely, helpful and hospitable. The home cooked food was amazing, literally everything I'd seen on instagram. The amenities were great. The opportunity to dine with other guests was lovely, as I met some really nice guests. I would definitely recommend The Mudgee Homestead to adults visiting Mudgee.
